Native creature Inquiry
We have been following our Twizel inquiry Model to find out about native NZ creatures. We are at the research stage and are using traditional and digital sources of information. We are going to share our findings using Glogster, a web 2.0 app where we will make a digital poster embedding sounds, video, images and text.

Safe Walking
We have been working with Constable Hocken today learning about safe walking. Every year 40 pedestrians are killed and over 1000 injured in New Zealand. Please ask your child what they have been learning and practice this at home. Our students could be 'experts' to teach a younger child.

If I was an animal ...
Students in Room 13 found a mysterious bottle on their way home. They took it home to recycle it. Later on they noticed it glowing and they opened the lid. A genie popped out who gave them a wish to be an animal of their choice for a day. They had to think carefully about their choice.
